PSO: Annual Family Concert

The Light Classics for All Ages family concert will be available for viewing on the Plainfield Symphony YouTube Channel beginning March 6, 2021 at 7pm. Enjoy these light classical gems and learn a little about the evolution of the waltz. Featuring:

• Selected movements from Eine Kleine Nachtmusik by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
• The 4th movement of Ludwig van Beethoven’s String Quartet in Bb Major, Op. 130.
  
• The 2nd movement Valse (Waltz) from Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s Serenade for Strings in C Major, Op.48.
• Several well-known waltzes by Austrian composer Johann Strauss Jr.
  
• The Radetzky March, Op.228 by Johann Strauss Sr.
