Activities include Touch a Truck, pony rides. a petting zoo, pumpkin decorating, face painting, and more! Space in certain activities is limited, and will be on a first-come, first-served basis. If there is rain, some programs will be held inside the Library building. All activities are free and open to the public.

The Historical Society of Plainfield will host Gordon Thomas Ward in his program entitled “Historic Haunts of Central Jersey" at the Drake House Museum. Ward is an author, singer, songwriter, and has over 40 years of experience in the field of paranormal investigation.
“Historic Haunts of Central Jersey" is based upon Ward’s book, “Ghosts of Central Jersey.” The event will include a presentation that mixes photographs of investigation sites, documented tales, and live music. Saturday, October 5, 2019 3:00 PM Roselle Park Arts Festival will showcase an Art Walk with work by professional artists and artisan craftsmen, live music, Short Film Festival, Street Art, interactive activities, The Art of the Food Truck, chalk drawing, painting, woodworking, paint and pour etc.

Come celebrate the 150th anniversary of Plainfield’s incorporation by visiting some of its earliest residences, and learning how the city transformed from a rural village to a fashionable suburb for America’s post-Civil War elite.
