Second Street Youth Center Foundation, Inc. respectfully solicits your support in helping the children in our community of SSYC-Teen Resource Center (TRC). The Our City – My Town project will serve to give the youth in the community a “voice”, it will allow for exposure and expression of what and how some of the youth within the City of Plainfield actually view the city and what they feel the city has or does not have to offer the youth residing within Plainfield. 1 Solicitation 2 Proposal
2008 National Night Out

The purpose of National Night Out is to improve the relationship and cooperation between the citizens and law enforcement, while improving community collaboration. Tentative schedule of events:
Plainfield Library Photography Contest
September 15
Plainfield Public Library is now accepting photo submissions for its 2008 annual photography contest and exhibit. Cash prizes and ribbons will be awarded for photograhs reflecting the theme: Plainfield Stores and Shopping Scenes. Flyer
Girl Scouts Thin Mint Cookie Blizzard® Treat
July 2008
For July only, Girl Scouts and Dairy Queen have teamed up to treat you to the first-ever combo of crunchy, chocolaty Girl Scouts Thin Mint cookies and creamy mint DQ soft serve. Also, on July 10 - 5 PM Girl Scout Appreciation Day will be hosted by the Dairy Queen in Plainfield.
